Astrophysics

Introduction:

 Astrophysics is a branch of space Astronomy that applies the laws of physics to seek to understand the universe and our place in it.

The field of astrophysics explores the birth, life & death of stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae and other objects in the universe.

What do astrophysicists do??

Astrophysicists try to understand the universe & its contents including stars, planets, galaxies & celestial objects by applying the laws of physics 

The term Astronomer & Astrophysicists are usually used interchangeably, but they do not mean one & the same.

Aims:

At space research organisations like NASA (National Aeronautics Space Administration) the aims of astrophysicists is to discover how the universe works, explore how it began and evolved & search for life on planets around other stars.
